If the same Gerber has been ordered many times on JLCPCB, later orders may no longer be free. A workaround is to open the source PCB file, make small changes (silkscreen text, add a few vias, tweak traces), export a new Gerber, and order again.

JIEPEI does not verify Gerber origin and has fewer restrictions, but personal verification only allows 1–2 layer boards. (The heater board can be prototyped for free.)

With corporate verification, 1–6 layer boards are free to prototype. (The main control board can be prototyped for free.)

Preparation Before Ordering

• Confirm you have downloaded the correct Gerber files.
• If you need SMT assembly, prepare the BOM and coordinate files.
• The main control board is 4-layer FR-4; the heater board is 1-layer aluminum substrate.

Recommended Order Flow

1. Download the corresponding Gerber archive.
2. Create a new order on the PCB manufacturer’s website and select material and layer count.
3. Upload the Gerber and confirm dimensions and layers.
4. Place the order and wait for production and shipping.

Post-Fabrication Checks

• No obvious shorts or missing copper on the PCB surface.
• Pads are intact and vias are continuous.
• No solder bridges or shorts around key power pads.
