Quick Start
This page is for first-time users. It does not replace the full documentation, but helps you quickly understand the overall flow, prepare your checklist, and note key cautions.
Applicable Models
The current 3D-printed structure and installation plan are for Bambu Lab P2S / P1S. Other enclosed models can follow this flow, but you will need to design your own enclosure or riser structure.
What You Need to Prepare
- A 3D printer (for printing the riser and module parts).
- Basic soldering tools: soldering iron, solder, flux, tweezers, desoldering pump or wick.
- Basic assembly tools: Phillips screwdriver, needle-nose pliers, wire cutters, wire strippers.
- Basic measurement tools: multimeter (for short and polarity checks).
- A computer and USB-C data cable (for firmware flashing).
Process Overview
- Read the project overview and features: Introduction
- Download hardware and 3D model files: Hardware Source Files, 3D Models
- Purchase materials: BOM
- PCB fabrication: PCB Fabrication
- 3D print and assemble the main frame: Main Frame Installation
- Assemble modules (main controller, exhaust, power, etc.): Module – Main Controller
- Solder and wire hardware: Assembly Instructions, Hardware Wiring Diagram
- Download and flash firmware: Firmware Download, Firmware Flashing
- Activation and first configuration: Firmware Activation, Function Description
First Power-On Checklist
- Confirm 24V power polarity is correct.
- Confirm the 12V/24V selection pads on the main control board are not shorted.
- Confirm fan and LED polarity is correct.
- Confirm the heater plate and MOSFET heatsinks are installed.
- Confirm all connectors are fully seated and not loose.
- Power with USB only for flashing and basic tests, then connect 24V power.
